Holiday gifts for the person who has everything

I don’t know about you, but as soon as October rolls around, I start panicking about the holidays and what to get family members when everyone lives out of town and I have no idea what their preferences are. And as far as my parents go, if they need something, they usually go out and buy it. So I searched for some neat personalized gifts and found them at Mulberry Moon.com. Everyone I have given presents to from here says they love it and that is great for me.

Get Glowing This Holiday Season; Offer Your Customers Ecofriendly, Personalized Candles

Initial Enlightenment engraved candle company now offers wholesale, ecofriendly monogrammed candles made from palm wax specifically for gift shops and retailers in the US market.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 19, 2007 — Initial Enlightenment engraved candle company now offers wholesale, ecofriendly monogrammed candles made from palm wax specifically for gift shops and retailers in the US market.

The fragrant candle collection contains many different scents and sizes in warm colors designed to delight the noses of recipients while at the same time burning clean for the environment. Add an element of personalization, and you have the perfect gift for the person who has everything.

The palm wax, an all-natural vegetable wax blend, makes candles burn longer and smoother so the monogram won’t melt. The clean burning palm wax, made with virgin palm oil, burns with a bright flame, minimizing soot emissions. It is a natural renewable resource.

Made in the USA, Initial Enlightenment’s candle collection offers beautiful, fragrant and personal gifts that will be the hit of any retail display. Since they are ecofriendly, recipients can take comfort that their candles are not harming the environment.

English is not the official language of the United States

I was shocked a few years ago to learn that the United States has no official language. I have been asking friends and family and they weren’t aware of this fact either. It is time to make it the official language and we need to act on this so we can ensure that our road signs remain English among other things. I can’t imagine my daughters growing up in this country where we have different languages in different areas and resulting signage and confusion. How will the schools handle these issues if we don’t make one consistent language? It’s alarming.

Toward a United America

U.S.ENGLISH, Inc. is the nation’s oldest, largest citizens’ action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States. Founded in 1983 by the late Senator S.I. Hayakawa, an immigrant himself, U.S. English now has 1.8 million members nationwide.

The United States currently does not have an official language, but English is spoken by about 82% of the population as a native language.

Many people are surprised to learn that the United States has no official language. As one of the major centers of commerce and trade, and a major English-speaking country, many assume that English is the country’s official language. But despite efforts over the years, the United States has no official language.

Push for ‘official’ English heats up

Rising concern over immigration has prompted a wave of cities and states this year to try to make English the official language.
