Thinking small in PR

The web and social media gives us incredible opportunities to reach people in ways we have never been able to before.

In Ragan’s “PR smallball” feature by Shel Holtz, he talks about thinking small in public relations.

Hasn’t it always been about getting the right pitch to the right person at the right time? In other words, shouldn’t we always think small?

I don’t need for the world to know about the product I am pitching, I just need about 20 of the most influential editors and bloggers to know.

It is a good reminder in this world of mass communications.  Always pitch on topic and always target the right people.
