A Walt Disney World Halloween

We went to Walt Disney World for Halloween last week and had a blast. We go every year for Labor Day week, which I highly recommend as the crowds disappear after Labor Day Monday. Girls at Disney for Halloween

I was in town for a trade show and my husband flew down with the girls on the Thursday night before Thanksgiving. His family met us there on Friday and we stayed at Caribbean Beach. We have never stayed there but it was awesome. It has a food court, lots of beaches, playgrounds on a private lake. The pool is big with a play place and two water slides. I highly recommend it and we walked around a lot.

Disney knows how to celebrate, so for Halloween we went to Downtown Disney and each store gave away candy for trick or treating. We went back to Caribbean Beach and they had a DJ by the pool, a costume parade and trick or treating around the pool. The kids had a blast.

It was more crowded as the wine and food festival were also at Epcot, but we didn’t go the parks. We rode the monorail and visited the resorts and then hung poolside at the resort. A great time was had by all!

  1. That sounds great! Out here in Southern California, DisneyLand is also a lot of fun for Halloween. No surprise, huh?
