Can we pretend that airplanes and the night sky are like shooting stars?

Why, yes. Let’s. What is it with this song? Sometimes a song can hit you and no matter what, it moves you. I don’t know what it is, but I love it. Maybe because given everything going on in the world, everyone can use a wish right now.

I even love the bit in Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga’s skit on SNL. It is such a great song that the new band New Hollow that I heard in the store Justice sang it and I even liked that version.

It just goes to show that a great message delivered in the right way can resonate with so many different audiences on so many levels. A mesage of loss, redemption, and hope. We all could really use a wish right now. 🙂

You know you are getting older when…

You watch the Disney Games and are reminded of the original Battle of the Network stars!

You watch an old Donny & Marie show and are taken back to the days of 3 networks and only a handful of channels.

You remember pong as the breakthrough video game that started it all.

You lived life without a cell phone, the internet and a computer until your 20s.

You hear 80s alternative songs on the easy listening radio station.

Yikes! 🙂
