Thrift shopping in Travelers Rest, SC

We took a day trip over to Travelers Rest and went thrift shopping at the Miracle Hill Thrift Store TR location. It is the largest locations that I have been to and it was well organized.

After a few hours of thrifting, we headed over to Main Street. We found a neat vintage clothing store, Retro Marketplace. It was full of vintage and upcycled decor. Lots of fun things to look at.

We stopped for lunch at Farmhouse Tacos and had a delicious lunch. They have dine-in and a patio with games in the yard. I had the farmhouse fish tacos with a corn tortilla as I am gluten-free.

After lunch, we went to the TRee House Cafe & Studio, which was my daughter’s favorite part of the trip. It’s an art cafe and community hub. You can get coffee and tea and they have a varied menu of breakfast and lunch items. You are encouraged to draw or paint and you can buy items to paint. It can get busy at times. They are open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

We ventured out near the swamp trail and found a few murals that were Instagram-worthy. All in all, we had the best day and will definitely go back to visit!
